Health Canada - Double Standard?

Health Canada has come out with a statement that Emperor’s Tea Pill (Tian Huang Bu Xin Wan) and Hepatico Extract (Dhu Gan Wan) can be harmful for your health due to the high levels of lead and mercury.

Emperor's Tea Pill is promoted to treat insomnia, mental weariness, amnesia, palpitations and constipation. Hepatico Extract is promoted to treat abdominal gas, hiccups, belching, loose stools and poor appetite. (click here for full article)

Lead and Mercury are things that we already know are not good for your body. Hey, wait a tick...if Health Canada is saying that we should stop taking these products due to the lead and mercury contained in them then why do they allow vaccinations to occur with our children??? Vaccinations have been, for quite a while now, known to contain harmful things like mercury, formaldehyde and aluminum (ick!).

Isn't that a double-standard?

So if you are wondering whether or not you should vaccinate your children, please make sure that you at lease know what you're getting in to. Don't think that I'm telling you to NOT vaccinate your children. All I am saying is that you should be well educated about vaccinations before making any decisions.

What do you think? Let me know!
