Exercise may reduce chance of cold...and more.

...regular physical activity "probably reduces the chance of colds, probably
reduces the incidence of heart attacks and heart disease, helps prevent
diabetes, helps control body weight and keeps you out of the nursing home."

Exercise can keep the cold away

Well, we knew this was likely the case, but we probably never knew the hard numbers. This study (http://www.healthday.com/view.cfm?id=535730) shows that non-exercisers were more than three times as likely to get a cold compared to people who were regular exercisers.

THREE TIMES AS LIKELY.

If you've ever had a cold you already know that it can take up to 2 to 3 weeks to clear up before you feel 'yourself' again. During those 2 to 3 weeks you're left depleted and possibly even bed-ridden for one or more of those days.

The moral of the story? Eat right. Exercise. Keep a positive outlook on life. It's easier than you think.
